Rental Information
The Mount Pleasant Parks and Recreation Department rents a variety of facilities. Contacting the department by phone or in person can make reservations. Reservations for the upcoming year are accepted beginning November 1st. Fees and deposits are due one week prior to the reservation. To make a facility reservation, please call 385-1475 or stop by the Parks and Recreation Office located in City Hall.
Cottrell Gym
Cottrell Gym is available for rent by the general public. The gym has six basketball hoops, batting cages. This facility is available for rent for gym related activities. Fee is $35.00 per hour. Gym rental will also require a $100.00 damage deposit.

Batting Cage Rentals
Practice baseball and softball year round! You can rent batting cages in Cottrell Gym. $25 per hour. You must make reservations at the Parks and Recreation Office.
Log Cabin
The Log Cabin, located at Saunders Park, is available for rent for various group gatherings.

Winter Storage
The Parks and Recreation Department stores items (RV's, campers, boats, etc.) for the winter in the Grandstand and Sheep Barn at McMillan Park.
Civic Center Meeting Room
This meeting room is available for rent by the public. Only business, educational, or professional type meetings are permitted in this room. Amenities include: projection screen, kitchenette, tables and 150 chairs. Rental fee for a half 'day is $75 and $125 for a full day. A damage deposit of $100 is required for all rentals and will be returned after the rental time. Set up and tear down time is included in the rental time. Fee and deposit are due at the time of rental.
Heatilator Performing Arts Center
This is a 350-seat performing arts theatre equipped with a sound and lighting system. Dressing rooms and green rooms are also available for use with the facility. This facility is perfect for theatrical performances, lectures, or ceremonies. Rental fee for this facility is $150 per day. If using the sound and light system, an approved technician must run the system. Their fee will be paid by the renter. A $100 damage deposit is required.
